Krista's PERFECT DAY

My alarm clock goes off at 7:00am and I happily jump out of bed. The first thing I need to do is
work out followed by a large cup of cold brew smoothie.

Once I am awake, I get to work on planning Sydney Sweeney and John Mayer wedding in Portofino.

This wedding is going to be exquisite! The bride is wearing Danielle Frankel, carrying a beautiful bouquet of tulips and will walk down the aisle to Here Comes the Sun by The Beatles.

At the reception, they will serve Cacio e Pepe and chocolate chip cookies. Their signature drink will be a tequila espresso martinis.

This is going to be a fairy tale wedding, just like in Zoolander! After finishing some final details on the wedding, I am off to lunch with Anthony Bourdain at Casa Tua. I spend the rest of my afternoon either reading The Glass Castle, browsing @archdigest instagram account, shopping online at Anthropologie or binge watching 30 Rock.

Tonight, I am putting on my yellow beanie, grabbing my Owala water bottle and headed to the Museum of Fine Arts with my sister, Victoria.

And when the day is over, I am so hyped because this was the most perfect day.

Born and raised in Houston, I graduated from TCU, where I had my first event planning experience as an intern for the Cowtown Marathon. It was such a satisfying experience to see it from the planning stage all the way until the actual marathon. Ever since, I was hooked! I have a variety of experience in events across several industries including retail, advertising, and hospitality. I’ve organized trade shows, opened a luxury hotel, and implemented entire national rebrands!

After living in Dallas post-graduation, I moved to Aspen and planned fabulous mountain weddings! Balancing the logistics along with the creative details is where I thrive, but none of that is possible without the client relationships. I love getting to know my clients and understanding their relationship and love story.

As a wedding planner, I believe not only the event should be a joyful, memorable occasion, but also the planning process! I’m dedicated to making each client’s event run seamlessly and infusing celebrations with joyful details. I truly have an undying love for throwing memorable celebrations.

I am thrilled to be back in Houston with all the excitement of the big city! We have world-class venues and deliciously diverse restaurants. Houston has something for everyone. I’m excited to eat at all the restaurants I have missed and be near friends and family. Bringing together my closest people brings me joy!

I am approachable, extremely hard working, and love to plan parties. I am a good listener and ready to offer you elite service; I will take your personal preferences and make them come to life. I look forward to being a part of your next celebration!
