When I was a kid, I set up a table at the top of the stairs at my parents’ house to check-in people as they came upstairs. I had a clipboard, checklist, and calculator that I used to keep track of my family members. I think someone should have known then that I was destined to be a wedding planner.

Throughout college and graduate school, event planning was always something I was drawn toward. I loved the idea of orchestrating a huge event for people to enjoy. I felt a bit like it was my calling. Many years and events later, and I can proudly say I still believe that. After I got my master’s degree, I moved to Houston to be with my sweet husband, Canon and found my other love- Belle Events.

I started as an intern with Belle and immediately fell in love with everything about planning weddings. I had just gotten married myself and knew the stress of being a bride. Being engaged is one of the most fun and exciting times in your life, so wedding planning should be too! I knew I could be the type of wedding planner that could make that dream a reality for my clients. Big or small, local or destination, formal or laid-back, classic or modern, every event is unique - and that is what makes them wonderful. Give me any reason to throw a party and I am all-in. 

“In my free time, you can find me taking my sweet sons, Baker and Croft, to the park, working out at Barry’s Bootcamp, eating sushi at Uchi, cheering on the TCU Frogs, traveling, reading a book, or just hanging out with my family and friends.
