Madlibs with Emily
Emily’s PERFECT DAY
My alarm clock goes off at 8:00am and I leisurely jump out of bed. The first thing I need to do is
check my phone & have breakfast followed by a large cup of latte.
Once I am awake, I get to work on planning Blake Lively and Harry Styles’s wedding in London.
This wedding is going to be ethereal! The bride is wearing Jenny Packham, carrying a beautiful bouquet of dahlias and will walk down the aisle to Peaceful Easy Feeling by The Eagles.
At the reception, they will serve filet mignon and creme brulee. Their signature drink will be a French 75.
This is going to be a fairy tale wedding, just like in Mamma Mia! After finishing some final details on the wedding, I am off to lunch with Grandma at Cuchara. I spend the rest of my afternoon either reading Harry Potter, browsing Wishbone Kitchen’s instagram account, shopping online at Kora Organics or binge watching Criminal Minds.
Tonight, I am putting on my sunset orange necklace, grabbing my emotional support water bottle and headed to the Museum District with my husband, Trey.
And when the day is over, I am so overjoyed because this was the most perfect day.
About Emily
Hi! My name is Emily and I am so excited that you are here! I absolutely love dogs, a beach vacation and spending time with my family. I am an avid baker and cake decorator in my spare time and enjoy making cakes for all occasions for my family and friends. I always knew being an event planner was my dream job; as a young child I used to “plan” every family celebration down to the floral arrangements and the place settings!
I am a born and raised Houstonian and attended Texas A&M University before returning to Houston to start my career. Prior to working for Belle, I worked for the Houston Texans for six years in the human resources department and I was lucky enough to be in charge of our events committee! I was able to plan dozens of events over the years including holiday parties to Super Bowl parties! During my time with Texans, I was able to foster my love of connecting with people on a more personal level and I look forward to continuing to build those wonderful relationships with our clients!
I first met Belle & Rebecca when my now husband, Trey, and I were planning our wedding in 2018. Rebecca’s sister worked at the Texans too and she introduced us to Rebecca who eventually planned our wedding! Rebecca and I remained friends and I was able to find my way back to Belle, but this time in a professional setting rather than personal! I am overjoyed to be a part of the Belle Team!
